Sage service update 6 for Sage MAS 90 and 200 v4.30 available now

Periodically Sage releases service updates for your Sage MAS 90 or 200 accounting software.
These updates are cumulative. You will not have to load prior updates. This ensures that all you need is one file to complete an update of your software.
In general, we recommend that you install service updates only when there is a problem that you’ve been experiencing and you can clearly see that it is fixed in the update.
Also, be certain that you check for any third party enhancements (Extended Solutions or niche software such as Job Ops) which may require an update to be compatible with the current service update. These products often have their own compatibility lists which can be downloaded from their web site or obtained by calling the vendor. Often you can load the service update with no effect, however you should always check (Note: We strongly recommend involving your Sage Business Partner in this process).
Before updating your software to the latest release, please be certain that:
- You have no third party enhancements that require an upgrade to be compatible with this update
- The update specifically addresses an issue that is occuring in Sage MAS 90 or 200 version 4.3. In generaly it’s wise to apply service updates primarily when they fix issues that you have been experiencing.
- Make a total backup of your data to a separate location (Don’t rely on the copy company function in Sage MAS 90 or 200).
