MAS90 Job Cost Quick Tip – Re-Opening a Closed Job
(Please note: The following only applies to those MAS90 and MAS200 users who are running version 4.05 or higher.)
With the advent of a Job Cost History file, users may now re-open closed jobs for late postings. The Job Cost History Restore Utility is available on the Period End Menu in Job Cost. Jobs may be selected by a range of Job numbers, or a range of Status Dates. You may also choose individual jobs by a Select button, allowing you to pick and choose non-contiguous job numbers.
Once you have clicked on Proceed and printed the Job Cost History Restore Register, an update will restore the Job to Open status in Job Cost Maintenance. New costs will be added to the Job To Date totals, and only those new costs will post from WIP when the job is re-closed. You may close and re-open a job as many times as is needed.
