Sage have announced that they are pulling back their previously planned payroll tier pricing rollout schedule for Sage 100 and Sage 300 in order to “reassess our go-to-market approach and delay this launch until early 2016”. Sage today announced a change to the way  they price and charge maintenance on their payroll module for Sage 100 and Sage 300 customers.

Rather than paying a flat annual payroll maintenance, as was the prior policy, Sage announced that effective November 1, 2015  all payroll customers will be charged for payroll services based on payroll tier (aka #of employees paid). This policy will begin with the customer’s next Sage Business Care Plan renewal after November 1, 2015.

Payroll customers can expect to receive a temporary registration key which lasts until February 1, 2016, when permanent keys will begin being distributed to payroll users who pay the annual payroll fee during their regular renewal.
